I am going to have to speak to my manager about working at home again because I just don’t think that I am going to be able to take this for much longer
My office announced a few weeks ago that we were all going to have to start returning to the office. My first day back at the office was last Tuesday and it did not go as planned. I walked into the office and it was really stuffy. I thought that maybe the air conditioner was just having a hard time keeping up with everyone back in the office. Well, it turns out that the entire three months we were out of the office the air conditioner wasn’t working. So that meant when we got back the whole office was a mess. It was hot and sticky. Thankfully, I have my own office so I was able to get a fan and at least get the air moving around. However, I don’t think that I am going to be able to work like this for much longer. It is hard enough to work in an office that is warm, but when the air conditioner isn’t even able to move the air around it’s almost unbearable. I am going to have to speak to my manager about working at home again because I just don’t think that I am going to be able to take this for much longer. At my house the HVAC system is working perfectly and I don’t have to worry about being too hot while I am working. I really hope that my manager will be alright with my request.
