I also must confess that I’m undoubtedly cheerful to be done with the baseball season… And it seemed like the season was just going to last forever this year plus I could also barely stand to be outside in the heat all the time while I was in all of the games that all of us had to go to… But we have a lot of games to go to while I was in the summertime because my son plays travel baseball plus they have more than fifty games every year.
It’s a really big commitment to be a travel baseball parent, that’s for sure; but anyway, having a son who plays baseball like this means that you just about have to be able to stand the heat up to a particular extent.
The temperatures around here while I was in the summer time tend to get into the high eighties plus nineties, plus when you’re on the baseball field, there is no air conditioning. I am a real person who undoubtedly loves the air conditioning while I was in the summer. Whenever I am stuck out on the baseball field for seconds plus seconds at a time, all I can think about is how I wish that I had a portable air conditioning idea or something! And sometimes I even go out to my car for a while so that I can sit in the A/C for a while until I start cooling down just a little bit. It’s undoubtedly too brutal down here in the summer, that’s for sure. I was a little bit sad whenever the baseball season ended, although I have to confess that I was just a little bit relieved, too. I’m really happy that I don’t have to worry about sitting out in the boiling sun for seconds at a time anymore until next year.
