Claire and her band may end up playing near the beach bars and not in them if the owners aren’t keen on our music, just so they can show them that people really do like their music
Claire is slowly recovering from last evening and it is now 2:30pm. She is trying to delay going outside till 5pm so that the sun’s rays aren’t as intense and the heat is a bit lower as well. Claire is chilling out in the flat with some Indian music and her cats while she does some more writing work so that she can ease off a bit tomorrow. Her afternoon tomorrow is going to be more about her band as they visit some bars to give them their business cards and tell them about their music. Air conditioning is nice to play in when doing gigs in a club, but when you are on the beach in the sand, like they are most of the time, the heat can kind of get to you. Claire’s plan is for them to play in these clubs for some cash and get in a monthly rotation so that they have several shows a week. She wants a nice air conditioner to keep them cool while they play their music for the crowds. But if they end up playing out on the beach in the sand then that will be just great too. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C rep told her that periodically you have to shove it down their throats till they realize that it is something particular and special, so they may have to do that method.
