It is the 8th of May and Jenna is just starting to work on promoting her band for the summertime season in town.
They will do three gigs a week and make $150 each per gig, which will pretty much pay for all of her bills for the month.
Jenna can ease off on the other jobs she does to focus solely on music. She still needs to work on her drumming skills some more because it is really tough for her to drum and sing at the same time, but she is working on it. Her mini split AC is keeping her nice and cool in this room as she does her work, making Jenna grateful for even having some temperature control in her flat. There was a time not long ago when the whole summer time Jenna would be covered in sweat and uncomfortable and hoping for the cooler weather to come and save her. She pays a few hundred more a month now for her Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system and modern flat, but it is also five years later and a lot of the prices have gone up quite a bit. Jenna can still live here cheaply compared to the US and will ride out the rest of her life here if all goes as planned. She is working for the cooling and heating dealer in town and will keep working for them for a few more years till she finally throws in the towel and retires altogether. Jenna will be ecstatic when she looks back about her working job though.
