It’s the 7th of June and Gabe is just starting to work on promoting his band for the summertime season in town.
He will do four gigs a week and make $200 each per gig, which will pretty much spend money for all of his bills for the month.
Gabe can ease off on the other tasks he does to focus solely on music. He still needs to work on his drumming skills some more because it is hard for me to drum and sing at the same time, but he is working on it. His mini split air conditioner is keeping him nice and cool in this room as he does his work, making Gabe grateful for even having some weather conditions control in his home. There was a time not long ago when the whole summer time Gabe would be perspiring and uncomfortable hoping for the cooler weather to come and save him. He spends a few hundred more a month now for his heating and cooling, plus a modern flat. However, it is also three years later and a lot of the prices have gone up quite a bit. He can still live here cheaply compared to the US and will ride out the rest of his life here if all goes as planned. Gabe is working for the cooling and heating corporation in town and will keep working for them for several years till he finally throws in the towel and retires altogether. He will always be blissful when he looks back about his working job though.
