Asha had not been to her aunt’s beach house for ages.
This was one of her number one places to be in the world.
And that had everything to do with her aunt. This woman was a free spirit and lived on her own terms. Asha’s aunt obtained twenty four acres of wooded property that was barely on the grid many years ago. This is a woman who is not your usual work in the commercial Heating and Air Conditioning of an office sort of life. This woman was a writer and a thinker and lived life. She was the most unique woman Asha has ever met in her life. When she was in university and a young adult, Asha was so ecstatic to spend time with that woman inside her beach house. This beach house was rustic to be sure. There was no residential Heating and Air Conditioning nor were there many frills of any kind. But, she had nice solid furniture and an amazing wood stove for heating. The woman also had a big garden that produced most of her food. Asha would get away from university for a weekend to balance her head out in this spot. Well she was stunned that her aunt left this property and this beach house to her. Asha has been so happy to be able to update it a bit so it’s comfortable for her family and her. She had the local Heating and Air Conditioning corporation come out and add a ductless heat pump so they had some a/c in the summer. Asha also updated the furnishings and the family room as well. It’s a lovely spot and she’s just so grateful to her aunt for passing it down to her.
