This is the week that I finally get the HVAC repair my home has been needing for a long time and I’ve been looking forward to it.

Originally, the appointment was supposed to be last week, but we had a hurricane watch in the area, and my local HVAC company was hesitant to send their workers out to my house during that time.

I don’t blame the HVAC company for refusing to send out any workers during those potentially hazardous conditions. I do know some people who would insist on getting their A/C repaired, despite the risks. However, I always put safety first. I recently got a text from an HVAC technician saying that the appointment would be today, so I am elated. You might be wondering why I am looking forward to this air conditioner appointment. An HVAC appointment may sound like a very mundane thing to get so excited about, but let me tell you why I can’t wait for his visit. Today is the day that I get a brand new air conditioner unit. It has been far too long since we had the benefit of central air. I’ve been relying on a portable A/C unit, but it just isn’t the same. The A/C that is being installed was carefully chosen by me and an HVAC technician who gave me advice. I trust his expertise more than my own, so I am grateful that I am going to get a highly efficient system. I am so eager to have A/C back!
