I’ve seen magazines with all sorts of crazy topics, however I never expected to see a magazine that was all about heating and air conditioning.
That’s what I found as I was going through my junk mail today.
I was double-checking all of the mail that my husband had set aside for throwing away, when I discovered the HVAC magazine. It was a magazine sent from the local heating and cooling business, and it was advertising some of the coolest HVAC technology I’ve ever seen. I am a sucker when it comes to buying snazzy devices, and as I reading about the advanced technology and benefits these top of the line cooling devices came with, it was hard to stop myself from heading out and buying one right now! When I flipped the page it showed their smart thermostats, something else that was very interesting to me. Then, I stopped to consider whether or not we really needed a brand new air conditioning system. I had to wait for my husband to get home from work so that I could discuss the purchase with him. When it comes to making financial decisions, it’s important for the two of us to sit down and talk about what we want to do, so that we are on the same page before buying anything. This prevents any fights or disagreements. When my husband got back home, I showed him the magazine. He was not yet ready to purchase a brand new HVAC unit, but he did like the idea of the smart thermostat. We are going down to the HVAC store tomorrow to look at what kind of smart thermostat we would be most interested in purchasing. I’m praying that I can convince my husband to get one, because I think it would be a good addition to our household.
