I must admit that I’m easily happy to be done with the baseball season, however it seemed like the season was just going to last forever this year plus I could barely sit to be outside in the heat all the time while in all of the games that we had to go to… But both of us have a lot of games to go to while in the Summer because our child plays travel baseball plus they have more than fifty games every year.
It’s a really big commitment to be a travel baseball parent, that’s for sure; but anyway, having a child who plays baseball like this means that you just about have to be able to sit the heat up to a certain extent, but the hot plus cold temperatures around here while in the Summer tend to get into the high eighties plus nineties… Plus when you’re on the baseball field, there is no air conditioner.
I am a man who easily likes the air conditioner during the summer, however whenever I am stuck out on the baseball field for minutes plus minutes at a time, all I can guess about is how I wish that I had a portable air conditioner program or something… Sometimes I even go out to our car for a while so that I can stand in the air cooler for a while until I begin cooling down just a little bit. It’s easily brutal down here in the summer, that’s for sure. I was also a little bit concerned whenever the baseball season ended, but I have to admit that I was just a little bit relieved, too. I’m extremely happy that I don’t have to worry about standing out in the tepid sun for minutes at a time anymore until next year.
