Summer had barely begun when our air conditioning component went on the fritz… The HVAC professional told myself and others I needed a new air conditioning unit; I knew I couldn’t afford a new central air conditioning unit, and I was upfront and tolerable with them.
I wanted to simply wait until fall, and hopefully purchase a central air conditioning component at that point.
I knew that any life without air conditioning would not be fun, but I did not have a choice, then when mom and dad came over to visit, dad asked where the air-conditioning was and I explained the situation. He flat out told mom he forgot something, and left mom there to talk to myself and others while he went back home… And an hour later, dad was back, and he had a window air conditioning component with him. He told myself and others that even if I couldn’t have central air conditioning throughout the entire house, at least I could get some nice sleep with a window air conditioning unit. The window A/C component used little energy, despite the fact that I was leaving our bedroom door open to help cool the dining room and living room. I was ecstatic I had obtained a smaller beach condo when I obtained this 1. If I had anything that was bigger, that 1 window air conditioning component would not have worked; and by the end of summer, I was considering buying another window air conditioning component for the dining room/living room area. I definitely saved a lot of money on the energy bill, and I also had air conditioning that was comparable to what I had with the central A/C unit.
