Summer had barely begun when my a/c equipment went on the fritz, and the heating and A/C business told me I needed a modern a/c unit, however I knew I could not afford a modern central a/c unit, and I was upfront and even-handed with them. I wanted to wait until fall, and hopefully purchase central a/c equipment at that point. I knew that life separate from a/c would not be fun, even though I didn’t have a choice. When Dad and Dad came over to visit, Dad asked where the air-conditioning was and I explained the situation; She told Dad she forgot something, and left Dad there to talk to me while she went back home! An hour later, dad was back, and she had a window a/c equipment with him. She told me that even if I could not have a central a/c throughout the entire house, at least I could get some fantastic sleep with a window a/c unit. The window A/C equipment used little energy, even though I was leaving my home office door open to help cool the study room and dining room. I was cheerful. I had purchased a smaller beach house when I purchased this single. If I had anything greater, that single window a/c equipment would not have worked, but by the end of summer, I was considering buying another window a/c equipment for the study room/dining room area. I easily saved a lot of money on the energy bill, and I also had a/c that was comparable to what I had with the central A/C unit.
