I have an office in my house that I work in a few times a week, but I also love to work at coffee shops to change up the scenery.

My favorite coffee shop down the road has amazing lattes and speedy wifi, but one of the most overlooked things I love about them is their air conditioning! I live in a warm climate so air conditioning is really important to us over here. The air conditioning in the coffee shop is so great because it has really good zone control. Zone control is basically when the HVAC is evenly distributed throughout the space so there are no hot and cold spots. Poor zoning control is what happens when you go into a place and can’t sit at a certain table because the air there either feels too hot or too cold. This coffee shop’s zone control is so perfect that you can sit at any table and still get a quality air conditioning experience. They also have great insulation along the windows so that the sun pouring through doesn’t impact the bar seats that are lined up against those windows. I usually work for about six hours at a coffee shop, so having to move from table to table can be incredibly annoying. My favorite coffee shop is the best and has everything I need for a comfortable and successful work day. I love setting up meetings there as well.
