My best friends and I decided to take a road trip to get some fresh air and have some fun.
We piled up in my car and began to head West.
The trip started off a little slow because we didn’t really have a clear destination in mind, so we were just aimlessly driving in the direction we wanted. About one hundred and eighty miles into the trip, I noticed that the air conditioner began to smell weird and started blowing out warm air. I turned the thermostat to a cooler temperature and adjusted the settings, but nothing seemed to change. I thought that maybe restarting the car would kickstart the air conditioner again, so we pulled over. I restarted the car, but the air conditioner was still doing weird things. We popped open the hood and pretended to know that we knew where the air conditioner was even located, or what we should be looking for. Just seemed like the right thing to do. My friend did a quick online search and believed she was now an auto mechanic, so she started to push some parts around that she read were connected to the air conditioning system. We heard a loud noise and all of a sudden started to see a leak onto the ground, which we now know was the air conditioning leaking. At that point, I knew it was time to call an expert so I looked up a local HVAC company to see if we could bring the car in. I’m so glad we did, because they were able to identify the issue and fix us up right away.
