Yet, I opted for getting the ductless heat pumps
As I get older, I find that simplifying my life really helps a lot. The less extraneous stuff going on, the less stress there is on my life. And I hate to admit it but as I age, I don’t bounce back from big stress all that well. Plus, I still get enough stress inside the zone controlled HVAC of the office. I’m sort of in the midst of the process of succession. It’s my business and I’ll still own a stake and sit on the board. But the day to day stuff is going to be on a capable person who has come up through the ranks here. I think she might even love the company more that I do. Along with the process of limiting my role with the company, I’m also paring down my life as well. I’m single again but that hasn’t made it a heck of a lot easier really. In fact, my ex and I spent so much time recently going through all the stuff in the family home prior to upgrading the HVAC unit and selling it. She’s moving to a much smaller house as am I. My place is more of a bungalow on a nice piece of property. But there are just two bedrooms in that house. It had central air conditioning as well. Once the HVAC contractor inspected the HVAC system, he noted that the ductwork was failing and needed to be replaced along with the HVAC unit. Yet, I opted for getting the ductless heat pumps. I liked the idea of that sort of efficiency. Plus, with three of them in my house, I could customize the heating and cooling as I wished.
