After he finishes up with his last class at the end of this week, our son Danny is going to go to work for an air duct cleaning corporation here in town.
When he first told myself and others this, I was a little bit surprised because for the last several years he has worked at a farm during the Summer when he was house from school.
I guess I just assumed that he would continue going to work at the farm this year too. However, he decided that he was just completely done with farm work because it’s just too hot of a task for him. He says that during the Summer whenever the temperature gets hot outside, he feels prefer he can barely stand it when he’s outside all day long at the farm. I can’t say that I blame him, truthfully. It’s a difficult task to work on a farm even when the un-even temperatures outside aren’t super hot. He says that they don’t have any air conditioner on the farm at all and so there’s no way for him to get cooled off during the day unless he particularly goes all the way out to his truck and he sits with the air conditioner blasting for a few eighths. Anyway, he decided that he’s not going to go there to work again this summer. I guess he’s starting at the air duct corporation whenever he finishes up at school and he’s going to work there instead. It will be a big change, that’s for sure. I’m hoping that he enjoys it, though!
