My husband and I don’t go out very often, but when it comes to our anniversary, my husband always takes me out for dinner. I know how difficult it is for him to get around because he has severe arthritis, so I’m okay with staying home. I do however look forward to her anniversary dinner. We sat at the restaurant for well over an hour as we just sat, chatted, enjoyed the food, and enjoyed each other’s company. When I reminded my husband that it was getting late, he wasn’t sure if he wanted to leave the restaurant yet. Instead of going home, we decided to go to a movie. I don’t know who was more shocked, my husband or I, when we got back to the house. There was a note pinned to her door along with a receipt showing that our air conditioning unit had been cleaned. As per our maintenance agreement, there was no bill for the cleaning and inspection of the AC unit. The note went on to explain that our AC unit was in perfect condition, and the HVAC Tech had also changed the air filter for us. The odd part about this was that we didn’t have the maintenance agreement, and the HVAC company that had sent this technician was not the HVAC company that we used. We had to wait until morning to call the HVAC company that was listed on the receipt, and let them know that their technician had inspected the wrong AC unit. When looking at the address on the receipt, we realized that someone may have written E. Warner St., instead of W. Warner St.
