Inside air is so much better after ductwork cleaning

Being a current homeowner, I have had a lot to learn.

  • And that’s okay because that is area of the process and I want to learn.

For more than a decade, I dreamt about having our own home. I hated home life. Not only was I not building any equity, I had to put up with awful heating and cooling component and the lack of privacy that comes with home residing. So I saved and saved in order to afford a downpayment. Finally, I have our own condo and our own Heating and A/C equipment. It’s a starter condo and only two living rooms but it suits myself and others just fine. There were some replaces that needed to happen and I’ve tried to address them the best that I can. One thing that I didn’t actually know about until I owned our own home was that the Heating and A/C air ducts need to be cleaned. This was sort of counter intuitive to myself and others since all the ductwork does in channel Heating and A/C treated air. So what’s to clean? That’s sort of the naivete that I’m trying to overcome. Fact is, the ductwork gets dust and other stuff in there that has to be cleaned. So I called the Heating and A/C supplier and they did the ductwork cleaning. They followed that up with the ductwork resealing. This seals up the ductwork joints to help reduce the amount of stuff that gets in the air ducts. Plus, it increases the efficiency of the Heating and A/C equipment. And I’m constantly all for any money being put back in our pocket. Just a single more lesson in homeownership and I’m sure there are plenty more to come.
