Craig knew very well his mother was coming over with his dad to see the new house. He did his best to get the space ready, but it seemed not enough. Craig had no choice but to admit he needed his sister’s help. She had offered to get their guest room ready, but he refused, knowing she’d make him pay for it later. They loved each other but always enjoyed making each other suffer. He heard his sister laugh out loud when she finally answered the phone. Craig had to ask for her forgiveness then beg her to come to the house to help him out. Craig had only recently moved into the space and was eager to impress his parents. His sister came with a box of nice things his parents would love, and they arranged them accordingly. The following morning, Craig was getting ready when he felt the house was cold. He couldn’t understand why and went downstairs to check the thermostat. Craig was amazed to see the thermostat was in an area with lots of direct sunlight in the morning. It kept inaccurate readings and cooled the house than was necessary. Craig was happy he noticed this issue early before the sunlight damaged the thermostat. He called back the AC technician who installed him to change the location to a better place. This time the HVAC technician placed the AC thermostat in an area where there was an open window. Craig also noticed the draft coming in was affecting the readings and had the thermostat moved once more.
