Dad couldn’t believe I was moving out for good.

But I wanted a place of my own. It was time for this little bird to fly the nest, but he fought me every step of the way. Since I graduated from college and got work in my hometown, dad and mom suggested I stay at home to save money. Truly that was the best thing to do since it made me more focused, plus I never had to do my laundry. However, it wasn’t easy dating my parents around. I wanted a place where I felt more like an adult than a little girl. Knowing dad would object, I started to search for a house to buy in secret. My realtor was the best because she found me the friendliest place which I bought. I took my parents to see it, and they had a mixture of emotions. But it was already done, and I moved out a week later. The week was for me to find an AC system for the house. I had called a contractor to do some upgrades and an AC technician to check the system in the house. He advised me to buy a new air conditioner if it was possible. The one in the house was working, but it only had a few more years in it before I had to buy another AC. I had the funds for a quality HVAC system, so I requested the AC technician to accompany me to purchase the correct size.
