My first week living with him was a learning curve, but we made it work. I came back home early from work the other day and found the HVAC system had shut down. Since I was new to the area, I didn’t know any HVAC companies. The best I could do was call my boyfriend who sent me the contact information for an AC business a few miles away. An AC specialist knocked on the front door about two hours later, and I let him in. He began investigating the system and noticed it had a clogged drainage pipe. There was even water in the unit, which he had to drain off. The drainage pipe was clogged with algae forcing the system to emergency shut down. That was a great safety feature because it protected the air conditioner from damage.
