Mom was getting annoyed with the whole situation. She had hired a cleaning lady to help her with the house when our brother got sick. Mom had to dedicate a lot of time to his care which meant the house was becoming a mess. I did my best to help, but I worked full time and went to school at night. That’s why mom opted to hire a cleaning lady. The only issue was my mother was too precise about how she wanted things to be done. The cleaning lady kept doing a few things the way she didn’t like, and mom would get so annoyed. Finally, one day she spoke up, and I wouldn’t say I liked her toe. I told mom it wasn’t right to address the lady in such a manner because she did a good job cleaning the place. As we continued to speak, the AC system stopped working. We were in the kitchen, and I noticed the humming HVAC noise wasn’t there anymore. I went to check the thermostat and saw it was off too. My next move was to get in touch with the HVAC business near our home for assistance. They always insisted we call them immediately if there was an issue with the HVAC. I called, and someone answered who proceeded to ask me what had happened with the AC unit. It took a few seconds to explain, and he told me an AC mechanic was on his way to our home. We had been lucky, and there was an opening on their AC repair booking. The HVAC expert arrived and checked the whole unit. Some wires on the outdoor HVAC were completely worn out, which had tripped the circuit.
