Her roommates were so worried about her health and wellbeing since she wasn’t getting any rest. Last week, Evelyne couldn’t take it anymore and decided to quit. She loved her job, but she fainted three times at work due to severe dehydration. That was the last straw for her and her parents. They called, pleading that she take some time off to work on herself. The first day she was at home, all Evelyne did was sleep. Then it was time to take care of her room before leaving for a party. She hadn’t seen her friends in such a long time. At some point in the night, she felt tired and wanted to go back home, so she called a car service. Evelyne got home feeling cold, so she went to change the thermostat settings. The house was cold, which was odd since they’d left the heating unit on. No matter how many times Evelyne changed the settings, there was no change. It was a clear sign something was wrong with the thermostat. However, there was no way Evelyne was calling an AC professional to their house in an hour. So, she put on warm clothes, went to bed and contacted the HVAC repair company the following morning. Evelyne had a smart thermostat and hadn’t updated the software in quite some time. The AC worker who came to check the system noticed this and did the necessary upgrades. Next, he checked the AC unit since Evelyne had admitted they hadn’t called an AC worker to do maintenance in a long time.
