Something that I almost l earned the hard way is that it is absolutely important to change out your air conditioning filters. But I will get to that in a bit. About a year ago, I was struggling in a lot of ways. After a painful break up, I moved away to a current city, for a fresh start. It was harder to adjust than I thought, and while I am usually relaxing at getting a lot of current friends, I just couldn’t link with anybody. I had never felt so alone in those moments. It didn’t help that since I was in such a rush to get away, I wasn’t picky with the place I bought. A stupid option for sure, however now I live in a small and crammed home. I was so busy stressing about all of the above, that I began to slack on my responsibilities, and it almost cost myself and others a lot, but one of the things I started slacking on is proper care of my cooling and heating units. I used to get routine Heating and A/C repair twice a year, but I gradually stopped, and so when my Heating and A/C system started presenting complications, that should have been my yellow flag to get the cooling component looked at before it was too late. I went ahead and called the air conditioning specialist, and the girl came over and looked over the cooling device. She told myself and others that there was a section that was close to failing in the air conditioner. Not only that, but she told myself and others the air conditioning filter looked like it hadn’t been changed in 6 months. She was right, I had completely forgotten to change the Heating and A/C filter. I am so ecstatic I called the Heating and A/C tech out now, because I might have been paying a really heft bill soon.
