I really do not understand why you do not want to be an HVAC technician. I am an HVAC technician, and I honestly think that being an HVAC technician is one of the coolest jobs that you can have. I know that I may sound biased since I am an HVAC technician now, but I did not always use to be an HVAC technician. I used to be a student like you once that did not have a clue what I wanted to be when I grew up. Obviously, I was planning to go to college because so many of my teachers claimed that if you wanted to be successful, you had to go to college. However, when I learned about the HVAC company, my whole perspective changed. First of all, I learned that you do not have to go to college to be successful. As an HVAC technician, I could have received all of my HVAC training at college, but the HVAC company that I worked for actually paid for and provided all of my training. I never spent a day in college, and I make a lot more than most college graduates as an HVAC technician. Also, my job as an HVAC technician is really cool. A lot of people work jobs where they do the same boring thing every day, but as an HVAC technician, I never know what I am going to do. That is one of the coolest parts of being an HVAC technician. Honestly, I cannot imagine wanting to be anything else besides an HVAC technician. I am not saying that everyone should be an HVAC technician, but I do think that everyone should at least consider a job as an HVAC technician.
