I worked for an HVAC company throughout the summer, and I love it.
Sure, I do not want to be an HVAC technician, but I knew that I did not want to be an HVAC technician before I started working for the HVAC company.
I planned to go to college and become an accountant. I would literally never want to be an HVAC technician. I have nothing against HVAC technicians, but being an HVAC technician is not the right position for me. While working for the HVAC company during the summer, I definitely solidified that belief. Regardless, I did enjoy working for the HVAC company, and I do not regret it. The main reason that I started working for the HVAC company was that I wanted to learn a little about HVAC units. Sure, the HVAC company paid very well, and I would not have been able to make as much money working at a fast-food place. However, I wanted experience working with HVAC units. I never knew if it would be helpful in a professional way, but I figured that learning some basic HVAC repairs could help me in the future when I own my own house with the HVAC units in it. I hope that I never have to fix my own HVAC unit, but I know that it is a possibility. That is why I decided to work for the HVAC company. Working for the HVAC company was difficult, and I learned a lot about HVAC units and stuff. I am glad for the time that I spent working for the HVAC company. Maybe I will be allowed to be their accountant in the future!
