I drove up to our neighbor Jacie’s house recently just to visit.
I hadn’t seen her or her family in numerous weeks and I actually missed them.
When I got to our friend’s house, the first thing I noticed was the temperature. I was so warm in her house that I started perspiring after only being there a few minutes… Jacie apologized for the extreme heat and said that her dad was laboring on their a/c and had been for a while. Jacie said that that day was the hottest day they had all summer, and her cooling system decided to quit that evening. The people I was with and I went to bed that night without any cooling system, and it was a rough night. I tossed and turned and never even went under our blankets because it was so hot. The next day Jacie called the Heating and A/C supplier and asked if they could come that day and fix her cooling system. The Heating and A/C supplier said they were currently booked and the earliest they could send an A/C specialist was in numerous nights. Jacie was aggravated, however that has all she could do. I, being nice with our hands, decided to supply the cooling system a try. I took the cooling system apart and started fiddling with it. The fan was in nice condition and all the cooling coils, nothing seemed out of locale in the cooling system. Then I found a hole in the coolant tank. I went to the Heating and A/C store and found some coolant, and also some coolant tank patches. With these numerous items I was able to fix the cooling system on our own! Jacie called the Heating and A/C supplier and told them both of us had fixed the cooling system on our own.
