When mom came to stay with me last winter, it was the best thing ever.
I missed her so much, and we had plenty to catch up on.
Now that I am older, I am even closer with my mom. When I was a young girl, I had an attitude and so much naivety about life. But, mom was always factual with me about the realities of being an adult. She’d tell me not to rush to be a grown up since it wasn’t all fun and games. Well, mom was right and adulthood has been quite a challenge. But, I am also happy to be living a good life, and in a career that I love. I even managed to purchase my first home, and life is good. Mom came to stay with me in February and left at the earliest sign of spring. She wanted to get back home and start preparing her garden for plants and flowers. Since it was already starting to thaw, and the birds were singing. I also had to get home in order to do a few repairs. However, I got so busy at work, that summer came around and I was yet to do cooling maintenance. It’s important to do spring maintenance for the cooling system before turning it on. That way, the HVAC professional can replace the air filter, and also check on worn parts in the unit. However, since I got so busy, I forgot all about cooling maintenance until the last minute. When the HVAC professional came by, she told me that I wasn’t too late for cooling system maintenance and it was still okay to do it during summer.
