My husband works as a heating and AC professional and he actually enjoys his job.
He has good pay, frequently meets nice people, and he finds his job to be easy.
When he was at a heating school he was one of those people that just passed all of his exams easily. Heating and cooling technology has come a long way, it was just one of the subjects that regularly came easy to him. I am actually glad that he has so much joy with his job, however if there was one thing that I would change, I wish that he did not have to be away so often and could spend more family time. There have been times where my associate and I would be going out to do something together, and his job and would call him to come and do some heating or AC repair, however periodically I actually just wish people could wait to have their heating and AC system maintained. He just doesn’t get as much time off as he used to and I just wish that he had a little bit more down time, even if he is doing well and making a lot of money. This last Wednesday the two of us went to a diner, and midway through the meal he had his heating and AC supplier call him. He told me that his boss had asked him to come in, and that he had agreed to do so. I had complained to him about it because this was supposed to be his day off, and he did disclose that the boss gave him the option since he knew that technically he had today off. However, my husband chose to go in because not only does he like his job, but he has an enjoyable relationship with his boss and he loves doing what he does. I don’t mind him laboring in the heating and AC industry, I just wish I had more family time with him. I am going to see if he can take more time off to spend more time with me and the youngsters soon.
