Word of mouth wasn’t going to work anymore

For a long time, word of mouth as well as simple ads were the way to promote your business. I still remember growing up, my parents owned a candy store, and we would sell the candies for only a dime. They advertised their business through telling their friends, and their friends would spread the message. Back then, word of mouth was a pretty reliable method of advertising. So when I grew up and had my own business, a heating and air conditioning business, I also used word of mouth to help spread the message of my heating and A/C company. However, times have changed quite a bit since then, and it didn’t take me long to realize that word of mouth wasn’t going to work anymore. I had also used other forms of advertising such as newspapers and billboards, but even those weren’t doing as well as they had in the past. If I wanted to stay relevant, I would have to take some extreme measures, those measures being digital marketing. I have never tried online marketing, nor an online marketing business before, but since I didn’t know the first thing about the internet or how to properly use ads, I knew I was going to need the assistance of a marketing business. Thankfully, there were plenty of digital marketing companies around, and with their help, it made using Google ads easy. Nowadays, I have quite a bit of knowledge on how to properly advertise heating and cooling online, thanks to a marketing company.
