At a single point I must have slumped over and fallen asleep! Something about the floor radiating heat around me just felt so comfortable
Last night, I fell asleep in our bathroom. I wasn’t drunk. I was literally so comfortable that our eyes closed, and before I knew it, I opened them again, and it was five minutes later! My bathroom has radiant radiant floors. It’s a single of the most comfortable rooms in the house, if not, the most comfortable room. I installed radiant radiant floors in the bathroom because I wanted it to be our retreat from the world! I would take hot, soothing bubble baths and drink a glass of wine or two. Actually, that was pretty much what I was doing last night. By the time I dried off and slipped into our bath robe, I was feeling really drowsy. I ended up sitting on a single of the carpeted mats and reading something on our cellphone. The reading was making our eyes close. At a single point I must have slumped over and fallen asleep! Something about the floor radiating heat around me just felt so comfortable. The funny thing is, when I woke up, I wasn’t even sore or anything. In fact, I had gotten wonderful sleep! This got me thinking crazy things, like, what if I had some sort of fourth bed in our bathroom, or instead of a bed, it would just be a gel mat that was only a few inches thick so I would be close to the heated floor? Seriously, I suppose I got better sleep than I would have in our own bed in the home office! It would really be cheaper than installing radiant radiant floors everywhere in our house, which is really what I wanted to do.
