The air conditioner is down in the little building where I work as an insurance representative.

The landlord really needs to come out to fix the air conditioner.

My business is paying quite a lot of rent for a comparatively small workspace, and we deserve to be given the comfort that we pay for! This is not the first time that we’ve had trouble with our air conditioner. Normally, my job isn’t terribly difficult. I am grateful for it. I work decent hours and I get decent pay. However, having the air conditioner down in the middle of the summer is really getting to us. This is the second day that we’ve had to deal with absolutely no A/C. I was hoping that I would remember to at least bring a desk fan from home, but I was in a rush to get to work this morning, and I completely forgot! A couple of my other coworkers did not forget, and they have their own means of staying cool, while I’m sitting at my little desk sweating up a storm. We tried to contact the landlord all day yesterday, but he never picked up his phone. It was only later yesterday evening that he finally left a message on my bosses voicemail telling her that he would be able to send out an HVAC technician tomorrow? Why on earth couldn’t he schedule it the very next day? I’ve got another three hours of misery as I sit here stewing in my own sweat. I am dreaming of being able to finally go home and be under my own air conditioning. I think I will be so exhausted that I will walk through the front door and collapse on the couch after turning up the air!
