It's going to be a overheated Halloween

I was met with quite the conundrum this night.

It’s Halloween, and I was halfway between deciding whether or not I should go new home and give out candy or stay out late doing the things I normally do, enjoy going to the gym or taking care of some extra work at the office.

There were two things that made me decide to go ahead and head new home to give out candy. One, I had a whole bunch of candy left over from a Halloween celebration earlier in the week. The other reason is that I knew our dog would be going crazy every single time the doorbell rang. I didn’t want him to be tied up out. Now, the problem with making sure the doorbell never rings is that I have to be outside in the heat. It’s not a recognizably cool and crisp Halloween this year. That’s not exactly strange for the Southeast. It still sucks that I need to be outside in the heat and humidity instead of at least sitting in the foyer, waiting for kids to come to the door under the air conditioner. One really needs air conditioner on an night enjoy this. Then again, all the kids are out there in there costumes, several of which are particularly quite overheated and suffocating in and of themselves, never mind the fact that it honestly is overheated and muggy outside. I’m sure they are having plenty of fun despite not being in the air conditioner. Halloween has regularly been about the adventure of exploring citys far and wide to get that sweet sweet candy. At any rate, when the night is over, I’ll be glad to go back inside into the air conditioner and take a nice cool shower!
