I work for a company that has me deliver food and groceries to people don’t feel like getting off their butt to get it themselves! Now, I imagine, perhaps this business would be a novel concept a decade ago, but it sure is catching on like wildfire these days, especially after the covid-19 pandemic.
It seems like people have gotten quite used to sitting in their home and getting things brought to them.
I don’t know that I can entirely blame them, to be honest. It’s good money to provide them that service, so I can’t complain. Now, as I’m sure you’d realize, my greatest asset in this job is my vehicle. I keep it’s inner workings maintained and it’s body looking at least somewhat presentable. I wouldn’t want to besmirch the reputation of the company I work for. But there’s one piece of technology inside my vehicle that I rely on just as much as the engine itself, and that’s the air conditioner. You see, I live in a very hot region of the country, and I simply wouldn’t be able to do this job were it not for my air conditioner. It keeps me cool as I make my various deliveries, and I simply don’t know what I’d do without it. I dread the day when it might break down on me for some reason, but that’s not likely. With the regular schedule that I have of maintaining my vehicle and always making sure that the air conditioner is inspected during that trip to the car shop, I’ll probably be perfectly fine.
