A hazardous road trip

Thankfully, I had plenty of gas in the tank, and the heating system was blasting just fine! I chuckled as I looked at the outdoor temperature

Lately, our truck has been more important to me than anything in our life. That’s largely because I believe it’s saved our life a couple times on this crazy cross country road trip that I have decided to take. I’m a restless soul, and occasionally I enjoy to take random road trips across the country, just to clear our mind and get some appealing scenery and peace and quiet. I usually take such trips when the weather is somewhat nice, however this time, I decided I wanted to see the snow and ice! I got more than I bargained for, however it was still an adventure. I would be traveling into some seriously cold, mountainous territory, so I knew that our heating system needed to be up to snuff in our vehicle. I went to a reputable mechanic shop to make sure that our car was fit to travel long distances and the heating system would be able to keep me warm. I could not let our car fail on me in any capacity out there. I’m ecstatic to say that it didn’t. However, occasionally when you get stuck you get stuck, and I ended up getting stuck in a snowstorm on a road where you quite simply do not want to get stuck in a snowstorm, I’ll put it that way. Thankfully, I had plenty of gas in the tank, and the heating system was blasting just fine! I chuckled as I looked at the outdoor temperature. A brisk 4°! Early the next day, I was awakened by flashing lights behind me… Local emergency services were on the road, as they finally managed to get out to me. I’m glad I got the help I need, however I’m even more glad for our truck’s heater!
