I wasn’t too happy when I came to realize that we had uneven temperatures in our home. When I would go to my office, it always felt a little too overheated in the summer and too nippy in the winter. This is why I had to use a window AC unit for a little while in the summer and I had a portable fireplace for the cold season. I actually grew to enjoy that portable fireplace a lot, but I didn’t like how the window AC unit blocked the view from my office window. Eventually, I was talking with some buddies and one friend said how there was a way to have better indoor comfort. When I asked how I could do that, he started telling me about ductless multi-split systems. Another friend also said that the ductwork system probably was the issue. He said there could be leaks in the ductwork system and if I hadn’t had ductwork cleaning services for awhile, I might have blockages in the ductwork system. That would mean I could crank the heating or cooling in my office without causing a spike in the energy bills, and I wouldn’t have to worry about a clogged up ductwork system. I ended up just getting the ductwork system cleaned which solved the issue with uneven temperatures, but I am still saving up money to invest in a ductless multi-split system in the future.
