I wasn’t too glad when I came to realize that we had very uneven temperatures in our home.
- When I would go to my office, it always felt a little too boiling in the summertime and too nippy in the winter.
This is why I had to use a window AC component for a little while in the summertime and I had a portable gas fireplace for the chilly season. I grew to prefer that portable gas fireplace a lot, even though I didn’t really care for how the window AC component jammed the view from my office window. Eventually, I was talking with some buddies and one neighbor said how there was a way to have better indoor comfort. When I asked how I could do that, she started telling me about these ductless multi-split AC systems. However, another neighbor also said that the ductwork system in the place was entirely the issue. She said there could be leaks in the ductwork itself and if I hadn’t had ductwork cleaning services for awhile, I might have blockages in the duct system. I wasn’t exactly sure if I wanted a whole heating and A/C update, even though I had to disclose that the ductless multi-split plan sounded interesting, having the ability to have unusual temperature control settings in unusual areas of the household. That would mean I could crank the heating or cooling in my office without causing a spike in the energy bills, and I wouldn’t have to worry about a jammed up ductwork system. I ended up just getting the ductwork unit cleaned well, which solved the issue with those uneven temperatures, even though I am still saving up money to invest in a ductless multi-split unit in the future. I guess it will work out fine in the end.
