When the supplier slows down in the summertime season around here, most of the temp staff are let go. It’s kind of an anxious thing seeing all these people only toil at our building for a short phase of time. The only people who are able to stick around are the permanent staff members, but there are so few of us nowadays. Even for us, the work becomes entirely slow and every one of us ends up becoming just so bored half the time. Finally, the company decided to give us a bit of extra work to do, and they also gave us the offer to go to a store with less pay. Well, I couldn’t afford to make less money, so I basically would do whatever extra tasks that they needed. One of the tasks that I take most of the time happens to be mowing the shrubbery around the property. I know, it seems weird to mow the shrubbery when you have an office task. Of course, I take my chill out breaks because it gets pretty tepid outside in the summertime around here. Thankfully, the heating and AC in the building is excellent. The property owners have a solid heating and A/C repair method through a local supplier, so they take superb care of the company’s heating and A/C equipment. There is also a UV air purification system in the place that works quite well to keep fine air quality in the building. I also entirely prefer the fact that the UV light works to get rid of dangerous pathogens. It’s funny though, occasionally I’m even helping with heating and A/C repair and things such as changing the HEPA filters in the heating and A/C system!
