When it comes to heating our beach house I appreciate an old fashioned gas furnace, and the reason for this is because central heating gives off a truly dry air.

It makes our skin dry and occasionally even makes me feel all around dehydrated.

I do not guess if it is just me being sensitive to certain types of heating or what, but that is how I feel, however with a gas furnace the heating that it gives off is perfect. It is not too dry and it heats our house nicely in those long chilly winter season weeks of the year. I am truly glad to have a gas furnace. I used to have central heating but because it was too dry I decided to get rid of it and get a nice old fashioned gas furnace. Not to mention, the gas furnace truly makes it so that our energy bills are a little cheaper as well. It doesn’t take any electricity at all to be able to run the gas furnace. So because of that alone it is better to have a gas furnace than central heating, for our air conditioning I still have central air conditioning. But that is it. It is now just a stand alone central air conditioning unit instead of a central heating and a/c. I suppose I made the right choice and it is what is best for me. I would not change my mind no matter what. I am truly glad with the old fashioned gas furnace and I will continue to use it until something better comes along.
