I am currently experiencing a heat wave where I live. It is normally harshly sizzling as well as humid at this time of the year, but the temperatures the last few days have caused heat advisory warnings. It is so sizzling that when you walk from your house to your car, you immediately start covered in sweat. If you are fortunate enough to have a pool in your yard, that is a single way to cool off. However, I do not have a pool so the only ways I can cool off are by staying in the air conditioner inside or going to the beach to swim… Lately, I have been choosing to stay inside in the air conditioner because I don’t even want to deal with being sizzling before getting into the ocean. Typically, I do not set the temperature control super low. This is to save money, but also because when the air conditioner is that low it can really be uncomfortably freezing inside; Right now with how sizzling it is outside, there are no limits with how freezing the air conditioner is. I would much rather be freezing as well as under a blanket in my central air conditioner than covered in sweat outside. When I ventured out to the grocery store, I noticed that the air conditioner was harshly freezing as well as I loved it. I have been setting my smart temperature control lower than I normally ever do as well as I am putting all the fans on in this house. I also closed all of the blinds as well as curtains to prevent the heat of the sunlight from getting in the house. I hope that this heatwave will pass, but unfortunately where I live teh whole Summer feels prefer a constant heat wave.
