It wasn’t that long ago when our youngsters were telling us they wanted to do a lot of camping for their summer vacation.
I thought this was a great thing for them to do because it would help connect everybody with nature and we could travel and see a lot of nice places together as a family.
I ended up investing in a used RV. I was able to get a really good price on the vehicle because the cooling system was not working. The heating system fortunately worked and I thought that was important for obvious reasons, but I didn’t make a huge deal about the cooling equipment. The reason is because my cousin told me in the past how he hooked up a ductless mini split to the RV that he has. I figured he could help me do the same thing! So I had him come over to our home after having a ductless mini split delivered. He said it was a nice ductless mini split with a high seer rating which was good. I also got the solar panels that he advised with all the proper hookups to provide plenty of electricity to the RV. It didn’t even take that long for us to complete the ductless mini split installation along with the solar panels. I only had 4 solar panels on the RV, which are very slim and flexible, so they are not likely to take on any serious damage, they are built to last. When we finally went on our camping adventures, we went all over the country in this RV with perfect comfort 24/7 thanks to the ductless mini split!
