After he finishes up with his last class at the end of this week, our son Danny is going to go to work for an ductwork cleaning corporation here in town.
When he first told me this, I was a little bit surprised because for the last several years he has worked at a farm while I was in the Summer when he was loft from university.
I guess I just assumed that he would continue going to work at the farm this year too. However, he decided that he was just completely done with farm work because it’s just too hot of a job for him. He says that while I was in the Summer whenever the temperature gets hot outside, he feels enjoy he can barely stand it when he’s outside all day long at the farm. I can’t say that I blame him, sincerely. It’s a difficult job to work on a farm even when the temperatures outside aren’t super hot. He says that they don’t have any a/c on the farm at all plus so there’s no way for him to get cooled off while I was in the day unless he absolutely goes all the way out to his truck plus he sits with the a/c blasting for a few hours. Anyway, he decided that he’s not going to go there to work again this summer. I guess he’s starting at the ductwork corporation whenever he finishes up at university plus he’s going to work there instead. It will be a important change, that’s for sure. I’m hoping that he loves it, though!
