Ed’s little guys were in real trouble, and he wasn’t sure how he would save them this time around.
It honestly seemed like they were regularly seeking trouble. Ed had to admit that he felt completely overwhelmed and uncertain of what to do. He ended up getting a call from the police saying they had been arrested attempting to steal alcohol from a liquor store that afternoon. This was their second offense, and this time they’d end up in a juvenile detention center for certain. Ed recalled a conversation with his best buddy, who said such a place might be awesome for them since they were out of control. Ed was stretched thin between going to work and attending their court case that he actually forgot to contact the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C supplier for Heating, Ventilation, and A/C repair. The little guys were sentenced to 1 year in a juvenile detention center at the very beginning of summer. Ed took a week off work to attempt to recover from the ordeal and plan his next move in life… Perhaps boarding school would be a smart option for them. One Summer afternoon, he was at his lake dwelling trying to research more about the best boarding schools. The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C appliance stopped working. Ed noticed that the dwelling was feeling warm and muggy, so he checked his temperature control. It seemed the temperature control had stopped working altogether, which was why the cooling equipment wasn’t blowing cool air into the dwelling. As Ed was phoning the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C supplier, it hit him that he had forgotten to call them about Heating, Ventilation, and A/C repair before the hot season. Failure to tune up the equipment was causing his setbacks, however it had been a rough time back then.
