I’m very thankful for the value I ended up getting out of the old HVAC unit.
I mean that thing went almost 24 years without one serious problem.
There were a couple of minor hiccups along the way. But nothing that a quick fix from the HVAC technician couldn’t fix. Yet, I have to say that I don’t miss that old HVAC unit at all. How’s that for what have you done for me lately? It’s not that I don’t appreciate the job the old HVAC unit did. That’s not the case at all as I’m thrilled with the value we got from it. But the new HVAC equipment is a mind blower and I just can’t believe the difference in quality heating and air. For sure, I expected some advance in residential HVAC over nearly a quarter of a century. But what I’m witnessing is just next level stuff really. While the HVAC equipment itself is first rate and has one of the highest SEER ratings available, it’s the HVAC technology that’s really something. The house has zone controlled HVAC and is controlled with a smart thermostat. Both of these advances get the very most out of the HVAC equipment. I love the fact that we can customize the heating and cooling inside our house as we choose to. With six separate thermostats, you can dial up the singular comfort you want. And the smart thermostat is remarkable. I still marvel at the fact that it has learned our behaviors and is managing the HVAC unit accordingly. I’m telling you, this new HVAC system is something to behold.
