The most insane thing happened recently at the heating and air conditioning company I work for. It was last week and it was really hot out. And would you believe that the central heating and air conditioning system at the heat and a/c company broke down with no one around to fix it? Everyone was out on HVAC repair or installation jobs. So what had to be done was to send us office workers home for the day since it was so hot that none of us could bare to work in there. How ironic is that? You have a central heating and air conditioning system unit in a local heat and a/c company that breaks down and no one can fix it, then they end up sending people home as if it was a standard office building or something! It just goes to show you that no one is perfect and you can not foresee what is coming. I do not think they would hire more heat and a/c specialists just to hang around in case the central heating and air conditioning system went out. That would be a waste of company funds and could get quite pricey. What they did do was when all the local heat and a/c workers were back for the day, they paid one to stay late and repair the central heating and air conditioning system. So we were able to return to work the next day as if nothing had happened the previous day before. It was super insane all together!
