Summer can be difficult around here. We live in a region that has a fairly unpredictable sort of summer. It can be super sizzling with hardly any rain or it can be muggy with more rain than sunlight it seems. So when the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C specialist told me that the heat pump was on its last life, I wasn’t sure what to do. If it’s a wet, rainy Summer then we don’t need all that much cooling & we could really limp it along through the Summer months. And that would allow us to continue to save money in order to not have to finance the new Heating, Ventilation, & A/C equipment. Then again, it could be a smoking hot Summer & we are left without any A/C when we absolutely need it. I met with the HVAC supplier & was able to settle on the new quality heating & air model. It totally fits our heating & cooling needs while also not blowing out the budget for the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C device replacement. All we absolutely needed was a bit more time to save the currency. So, my wife & I decided to just go for it. The Summer started out absolutely sizzling & we did our best to cut down the cooling. But even with the thermostat discipline, the heat pump worked a lot. Well, that is until it didn’t. And when that happened, we lucked out & it got cool & rainy. So once the new Heating, Ventilation, & A/C device was shipped, we didn’t have to sweat it out too long before the new Heating, Ventilation, & A/C component was in.
