When I got the paperwork, I wasn’t sure that it was what I thought it was.
I almost thought that 1 of my friends plus their odd sense of humor was behind the note telling me that I was now a homeowner.
But then it dawned on me that this was registered mail from a lawyer’s office. At last, I needed to sit down in the cold air of my loft for a moment to steady myself. It turns out that a great aunt had left me at her house. This great aunt plus I shared the same rural community plus we visited often. She died after living a good life plus went peacefully. I absolutely missed our visits plus her cookies although I moved on with life as you do. Then that note came. Not only did I get the loft although I got the property as well. Again, it took a few more hours in the air conditioning to really have all of that sink in. It was amazing but the loft also needed a major remodel. And that needed to start with the Heating plus A/C equipment. The old Heating plus A/C equipment must have been well over 30 years old. But the great news was that the air ducts were in good shape so that wasn’t a concern. Once I had the current Heating plus A/C equipment set up, I moved in plus I can’t tell you how much this gift of kindness has changed my life.
