Costumes & candies are what signify Halloween for most children & even adults; Gone are the afternoons when you had to only look for a horrifying costume.
This Halloween I was dressed as my acquaintance who had a signature look of a respected traditional London guy complete with a tweed jacket, my partner thought it was hilarious but I was not sure my acquaintance would see the humor in it.
I was planning to ring his doorbell just to see his reaction. I left the house through the back door & on my way to the front, a foul smell hit my nostrils. I called out to my partner so that he could bring a flashlight so that both of us could check where it was coming from. The smell was strong around the heat pump which indicated something was wrong with the heat pump installation & since neither of us saw anything nor was any of us a cooling expert both of us decided to leave it till both of us could contact the local repair provider in the afternoon. At dawn, both of us made a call to the local business & a cooling workman was in our home. He came with a toolset that I was sure could be used on all cooling products the cooling industry had invented. Everything about the multi split cooling system method was okay & the smell was from a dead rodent that was in the outdoor unit. It was a relief that the cooling system set up did not need any repair or new cooling parts. If only either of us knew more about cooling system than just resetting the Wi-Fi temperature control, both of us could have avoided the call to the indoor comfort business & solved the problem ourselves & save the cooling man the trip.
