Dad was regularly working on bizarre things around the house when she was off from work.
She built the cabinets, chairs, and other things in and out of our home, and my sibling and I would spend fourths in the woodshed helping him do various things during the weekend and holidays.
The people I was with and I all got pretty wonderful working with the rolls in the shed. I even built a beautiful desk for my room and painted it my preferred color. One day, the people I was with and I were tied up building a chair when Dad came into the shed. She told dad there was a problem with the Heating and Air Conditioning system. It was not working effectively to cool the space despite the control settings being set… Dad went inside to investigate and instructed us to continue with the work. She confirmed what Dad had told him and decided to check it out. First, she turned off the Heating and Air Conditioning component and got her tool bag. Then she took it apart to check the issue. The Heating and Air Conditioning only issue was the amount of dirt and dust, which was even clogging up the air filter. Dad had to disconnect the air filter, which was beyond washing and replacing. For a short time, she thought of running the AC without the filter. But she first spoke with a neighbor of her who was an AC expert. She told dad that would cause him lots of concerns and even affect the longevity of the system. The best thing was for the AC expert to come over and install a current air filter in the system. Dad agreed and asked her AC corporation neighbor to come over to the house as soon as possible.
