Periodically I just have to pinch myself. Life is pretty good in addition to I’m very lucky to have that be the case. And it hasn’t consistently been this way. I spent a lot of years in locations where I didn’t want to be. This was due to a work that I thought was our only path to happiness. Sure, I appreciated the zone controlled Heating, Ventilation & A/C in those corporate offices. And the money was actually top notch as well. There was also a perception of prestige but that ended up honestly being an illusion I finally saw through. But I was miserable in addition to it finally came to a point that I had to option life over work. I relocated to a part a region that I had consistently appreciated to visit in addition to I went to work for myself. It’s been a change for sure. But I’m ecstatic in addition to making a go of a supplier that I really love. Plus, I never have to deal with a gas oil furnace, snow, ice or weeks long deep freezes. I traded all of that stuff in as well when I made the change to a life I wanted to live. I have to say that as far as the heating in addition to cooling goes, I sure got the better end of the deal. I now have a heat pump that provides both our heating in addition to cooling. However, where I live, the cooling is the biggest load for the heat pump. And yet, the a/c I get is great. The Heating, Ventilation & A/C device I own has a very high SEER rating in addition to it’s so efficient. That doesn’t mean that I don’t have to do our part when it comes to keeping the cooling costs manageable. But it sure beats the alternative.
