My sibling Stan is putting an addition on his house later this year. It will easily start while I was in the Summer & get finished up while I was in the early fall, however they aren’t entirely sure yet when the exact start date is going to be. They are already talking with a general corporation about building the addition however this week they are actually going to be talking to a heating & cooling supplier to get some ideas on what they are going to do about the heating & a/c in the addition. I guess there are some questions about how they are going to deal with the heating & a/c for the addition, since they will need a whole up-to-date Heating & A/C system for that part of the house. I thought that they would just be able to use their existing Heating & A/C system to heat & cool the addition, however Stan told me that the load of all of the extra space that they are going to be putting on will just be too much for their existing furnace & to handle. This isn’t something that I would have ever even considered if I was the one putting an addition onto my house, however I guess that makes sense. They actually have an appointment with an Heating & A/C supplier on Thursday & hopefully they will be able to get some answers. Stan said that he thinks that they will be dealing with an Heating & A/C zone control situation, however I don’t even guess what that is, hopefully he will provide me an upgrade when the two of us meet for supper after he finished his meeting with the Heating & A/C professional.
